Juried Art Show

Art in the Berkshires is proud to present its first local artist and artisan, juried art show!  This show celebrates local talent and offers an art show at Eastover Contemporary Art Space in Lenox, MA, June 4th through July 5th, 2025. The show will be enhanced with an online gallery, showing the artworks selected by our jurors from June 8 through December 15, 2025.  Awards will be given to artists in each category during the Opening Reception on June 7th.

Call for Art

Artists and artisans living/working in Berkshire County (or within 40 miles) are welcome to apply for this show. The call for art submissions is open from January 17 through March 14, 2025. The link to apply is Home | Call for Art—2025 AITB Juried Art Show.

• Entry Period: January 17 - March 14, 2025
• Notification of Acceptance: April 7 – 13, 2025
• Selected Art Drop-off: May 31 & June 1, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
• Art Show Dates: June 4 - July 5, 2025
• Art Show Reception: June 7, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Online Gallery Show: June 8 – December 15, 2025
• Unsold Art Pick-up: July 6, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. or July 7, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Art Categories:

1. 2-Dimensional Wall-Hung Art: Original work only (no reproductions).
2. 3-Dimensional Art: Sculptures and similar work.
3. Alternative Media: This category includes digital art, video art, wearable art, sound art, or other innovative media. Performance or time-derived art must be submitted as recordings.
4. Fine Crafts: Functional objects created using traditional or contemporary techniques, such as pottery, weaving, woodworking, metalworking, and glassblowing.

Awards:

One award will be given in each category above, plus one award for "Best in Show," and one "Crowd Favorite" award. Each award may also have a monetary prize of up to $500.
