I'm a painter and digital artist. Inspired by natural forms, I create large-and small-scale oil and acrylic paintings. I often use flora and fauna, particularly birds, as visual metaphors for human situations and emotions. I work in oil, acrylic and watercolor paint to create layered and luminous colors. In my new series, “Biosphere” I use the genre of still life to explore what we invite indoors, what we try to leave outdoors, and the illusion that we can separate ourselves from nature. I've been teaching in universities and colleges for many years, and also enjoy sharing my art in workshops.
