The AITB Creative + Event Studio is designed for artist-led workshops, intimate events, and creative programming that aligns with our mission to support the Berkshire arts community. The space is flexible by design and intentionally simple — allowing your work, ideas, and guests to take center stage.

Ideal Uses

The AITB Creative + Event Studio is designed for small, thoughtfully programmed creative gatherings.

Well-suited for:
Artist-led workshops and demos, talks and readings, intimate launches and receptions, creative classes, creative pop-ups, and community meetups.

Not a fit for:
Large private parties, amplified music events, or rentals unrelated to the arts.

Space Details

A flexible, gallery-inspired studio designed to adapt to your program. The space is about 500 square feet and has natural and gallery lighting. The feeling is warm and inspirational. 

We are located at 8 Castle Street, Great Barrington. Free, public parking is available across and down Castle Street past the Mahaiwe Theater.

The space includes:
Configurable tables and table seating for 12 plus an instructor, gallery lighting with neutral walls, restroom access, and a convenient downtown Great Barrington location.

Pricing & Access

Rates start at $50 and are structured to support the local creative community while sustaining the space. Preferred pricing and priority scheduling may be available for AITB members, nonprofit partners, and recurring rentals. Full details are shared upon inquiry.  Rentals are available during shop hours and afterhours.
