About:
Founded by the Barbara and Eric Rudd Art Foundation, the Berkshire Art Museum (BAM) opened to the public in 2014. It offers a dynamic space for both rotating exhibitions and a permanent collection. With 25,000 square feet across two repurposed buildings in North Adams, BAM provides a unique and immersive art experience.
Our Locations
Main Building (159 E. Main St.) – Just a few blocks from MASS MoCA, this space features seasonal exhibitions alongside permanent works, including Eric Rudd’s Lexan/Iceberg and Robotic sculptures.
The Annex – A Chapel for Humanity (82 Summer St.) – Located 200 steps away, this awe-inspiring space opened in 2001 and houses a contemporary sculptural epic with 150+ life-sized figures, 250 low-relief figures, and a moving 9/11 memorial.
