For three generations, our work has been rooted in a deep respect for art and the people who create and collect it. What began as a personal passion has grown into a trusted framing practice serving artists and collectors across Massachusetts.
With galleries previously located in Concord, Littleton, and Franklin County, we are now proud to continue our work in Great Barrington. Framing is not just a technical craft for us—it is a thoughtful collaboration that honors each artwork and the story it carries.
Our founder, Peregrin Frederic Schwarzer, began the business in the 1960s out of a love for art and collecting. The second generation, master framer Perry Schwarzer, elevated the practice and has been entrusted with works by artists including Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Ansel Adams, and Edward Hopper, among others. He continues to share his expertise today.
Now in its third generation, we remain committed to offering careful, knowledgeable, and accessible framing for artists, collectors, and the community.
