Artist Statement: Today's world can feel heavy and overwhelming, so through my art, I hope to lift your spirits, make you smile, and maybe even remind you of a happy memory. My work covers a variety of subjects, often inspired by childhood moments and playful animal expressions.
I paint mostly with acrylics on canvas and sometimes start with a photo from my collection. Lately, I’ve been exploring collage and fiber art, which add a fun, textured feel to some pieces. My art is rooted in personal experiences, and I enjoy creating connections through color, simple compositions, and emotion. Each piece tells a story, and I try to let that story shine through by focusing on what’s most important and leaving out the rest.
With a background in social work and human services, connecting with others has always been important to me. Through my art, I hope to share moments of joy, warmth, and a little bit of wonder with you.
