Natalie Tyler is a sculptor who brings nature to life through the luminous interplay of glass and bronze. Using traditional casting techniques, she transforms wax sculptures into striking forms—melding texture, color, and light to create dynamic, otherworldly pieces. Inspired by the natural world, her work serves as both a tribute and a warning, addressing pressing environmental issues such as climate change, rising sea levels, wildfires, and melting glaciers.
Tyler’s sculptures have earned international recognition, twice being selected as a U.S. Embassy-sponsored artist—exhibiting in Dublin, Ireland, and Tallinn, Estonia at the Estonia Museum of Applied Art and Design. Her work has been supported by institutions such as Mass MoCA, the Art Students League of New York, Vermont Studio Center, and Cornell University. She holds an MFA from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco and studied in Bologna, Italy.
